McKinney Deaf Club was established on January 25, 2009.  Our club is a non-profit organization registered with the State of Secretary in Texas.  Our mission is to promote deaf and hard of hearing needs and hearing rights as well as promote social events. The new abbreviation for the McKinney Deaf Club will be 'McKDC'.

Our official club mascot is the Armadillo.  It's name has not yet been decided, yet we will vote on which name to use in the future. More information to come. Thank you for your patience.

Our Mission

McKDC is a non-profit organization serving all deaf and hard of hearing persons without regard to race, religion, sex, disability or nationality.  The mission of McKDC is to assist the deaf community and to promote the overall well being of all deaf and hard of hearing members in McKinney and its surrounding areas. In doing so, the McKDC will:

• Provide members with family social interactions and enjoyment
• Provide seminars dealing with issues that impact our deaf and hard of hearing life
• Advocate the rights of deaf and hard of hearing members
• Provide a forum to meet new people
• Educate all members on new issues and technology
• Promote a Green Environment
